Attack of the Pictures
HALLOWEEN!
Jackie O and JFK. (Unfortunately, I don't have any better pictures of the two of us together)
Greg and Sarah (who dressed up as Christina Ricci's character in Black Snake Moan - she looked awesome!)
Bill and Greg
This week Colleen and I met up in Iowa City for some fun college reminiscing. Colleen started out the night by playing some awesome tunes at the Dublin.
Mike met us out at Brothers later. I'm not sure what I'm doing here, besides being totally cute.
This picture cracks me up.
Here we are at the end of the night at The Alley Cat (or whatever its called now) and since we're older and wiser - that's just water in those cups.
The St. Louis International Film Festival began this week, and this year one of the awards went to James Gunn (who grew up in Manchester). I'm a really big fan of his stuff, and when I found out he was going to be in town I really kind of freaked out. He did a couple of movie screenings this weekend, but with my trip to Iowa City and Greg being sick I wasn't able to attend those. But I was able to catch a Q & A session he held with a film writer/critic from LA where they talked about his career and what nots. It was totally geek-rific!
And I got to shake his hand and have him sign some stuff.
This is totally getting framed.
And even though we got some totally kick ass Chinese food this afternoon, I'd say meeting one my fave writers was the highlight of my day.
