I got an acceptance letter from the University of Washington today.
If only I would have gotten it sooner than a month before classes start.

oh well.

good bday weekend.
Friday: saw a play downtown with the fam.
Saturday: went shopping. spents lots of money. went out that night. met a boy. a cute one even.
Sunday: ADVENTURE LAND AND CORN DOGS!!

good times.

i saw that of which you speak. it was actually sitting on the newspaper table at the tv station (like any piece of outstanding journalism-- re: quad city times, where the banner headline for saturday's front page read "mostly back on"-- should be) and i immediately thought, "michelle is going to freak out when her mail comes."

one of the engineers at work actually has a countdown going: days until the olsen twins turn 18.

the past two days back have sucked. i've been sending out 4 loan packages a day. today, one of my co-workers was talking about how he's sending out 4 packages a week and he's super stressed. shut the hell up bastard.

when the hell is everwood coming back on the air? i miss ephram and his ass.

my latest obsession: "the oc" on fox. dave from gilmore girls (who i've loved since he was on "now what" on mtv) costars on this primetime soap. tonight, the episode led in with the song "california" by rufus wainwright. good stuff.

i swear that i do more than watch tv.

i'm going to marry my nurse practitioner.

tonight i was bored, so i watched some fastlanes that i recorded. i miss fastlane. totally underrated. i actually clapped my hands with glee when i heard jaime pressley say, "if you can't act like a gentleman, (she cocks the gun she has pointed at van's crotch)... i'll make you a lady."

i also decided, in my fastlane induced stupor, that tiffani theissen is a good actress. and a surprisingly good dancer.
