Confessions of a Dirrty Mind

The play is finito. WOOHOO! But at the same, awww.....it's over.

Account Rep and I went to dinner last night. When he came to pick me up, he noticed my big Alias poster. He just pointed it at and raised his eyebrows, so I wasn't sure if he making fun or what. So I just said, "yeah...." He replied, "You know there's new episode tonight." I told him I realized that and I had thought about that when we had made plans for that night. He goes, "Well, if we leave now, we'll have plenty of time to eat and make it back to watch it." I love him.

I went out for drinks with the account rep from work last night. ( eeeeeee!!! )

I told him about Colleen and I making the fort in the living room during Christmas break last year. About how we watched Buffy, played SNES, and slept in the fort. After that story he told me I was the hottest girl ever. :)
This could be promising.... but even if it leads no where, he's uber-hot and I can handle only have gone on a couple dates with an uber-hot guy.

In other news, the Lost Friggin' Prophets are playing in IC and I'm not going to be there. I'm not going to be able to get off of work, so Monday night I will be the worst mood ever thinking about how I should be jumping up and down all sweaty singing along to "Last Train Home." Grrr.

This is the last weekend for the play. Thank God.

It took me 35 minutes to get to work today.

The route I normally take has a detour due to construction, so I thought "well, I'll take 235 instead"
Oh, 235 has construction almost the entire way from West Des Moines to downtown causing three lanes of traffic to be decreased to one?
Oh, well I'll take Grand Avenue instead...
Right....Grand takes me straight to Fluer which also has construction....only one lane?... damn.
Okay....Ashworth then...oh wait, Ashworth BLOWS and has random construction all the time. Great.

Any route I take = construction.

I listened to my coworkers John Mayer CD twice today. What the hell.

I'm also totally crushing, to the point of distraction, the account rep I posted about below. HE MUST BE MINE!

So one of my props people didn't show up for the play today. I had to run props stage right, plus do all the crap I normally have to do stage left. IT WAS FUN! (that was my sarcastic voice...although, it actually was kinda fun)

Highlight of my day thus far: One of the crew members has a crush on me. The best part...he's ALMOST 18. Hee!

Ok, in actuality...
Work kinda does suck. I'm working hella hours. The total this week: 61.50 hours. And I could conceivably still come in for a couple hours tomorrow.

Playhouse is sucking less. Last week we had tech rehearsal all week, so that did suck. We've gone over budget, so I'm spending money on our props now. Damn dry ice.

Love life is interesting.
I have some new obsessions.
1. a senior in highschool who plays the gaurd at the Emerald City gates. He reminds of a guy I would have dated in highschool (ie. nerd)
2. the new admin asst at work. I kinda fell in love with him as soon as I saw him. Thick-rimmed glasses. nuff said.
3. one of the account reps at work. We moved desks (again) and I got his old desk. There was a Victoria's Secret catalog in the bottom drawer when I moved in, so I emailed him to give him a hard time. Since then we've continued emailing eachother on random subjects including books, music, pet peeves, my "I heart shy boys" t-shirt, and our laziness. So, those have been fun.

I'm getting fat. I eat crap.

cool news: One of the HMC's I work for from Chicago sent me two bags of chocolate in the mail. He loves me big!

And I'm spent!

Hi Micki. I just wanted to let you know that Mom got you tickets for swing show. She also wants you to call her if you haven't recently. But, I was sick the first day the tickets went on sale, and I came back to school the next day and the only seats left were the back row and two tables in the second to back row. So, I got mom and one of those tables and dad at the other. But, I'm starting to get alittle nervous about the show. I think I'll do ok though, however, I haven't been able to practice the past week because a string broke and Mom hasnt been able to get me a new one yet. Kelly says she wants you to add her to be a member. I'll talk to you later though. Bye!
