The trip so far...

Not sunny hardly at all. Rainy, cloudy, windy ... it's weird to miss the weather in Iowa.
Food = meh. Kebabs are awesome. Pides are not.
Three pubs. One night of hard liquor.
One puking fit - not alcohol induced. I don't know what induced it. But it sucked.

My accent is occasionally changing. But I'm proactively trying to make it stop.
People are kind of rude - it's weird. They will completely run into you and not say "sorry" or "excuse me" or anything. One lady basically slapped me in the face on the bus today and her expression didn't change at all. I guess us Midwesterns are just nice people in general.

And soda here tastes weird.

Can you believe it?
This is so weird. In 3 days I will be out of country. Tonight is my last night at work for 3 whole weeks. Holy crap.
I'm really excited to be heading over there - but to be honest I'm also totally freaked out and already missing everyone here. One of my coworkers' last day is Friday so I already said my goodbyes to him. Totally depressing.
