Confessions of a Dirrty Mind

Greg and I finished Season One of Battlestar Galactica last Friday and I bought Season 2.0 Saturday. So, yeah, I've been watching a bit of BSG lately. When I was working today, I couldn't find a certain peice of paper and my inner thoughts said "What the frak?"

My shirt is on backwards. I've been working for 8 hours today and I just now noticed that my shirt is on backwards. Lord help me.

Greg found out a bit ago that he has more vacation time than he thought, so to celebrate he took this entire week off. We don't have any real plans until the weekend, so mostly he'll just be doing lots of martial arts. The real kind and the video game kind. To kick off "Greg Week" (which is how it is marked on the calendar) we went to see two mediocre horror movies over the weekend. The Grudge 2 and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Neither had much for plot - I mean you pretty much know what is going to happen to everyone in both movies, you just dont know exactly how it will happen. But I thought they were both enjoyable enough. And the Grudge noises still creep me out.

Yesterday we went to Six Flags for Fright Fest. It was great because it was a very dreary day (but without actual rain) so it wasn't busy at all. For each ride we were able to walk through the whole line and only wait for 1 or 2 other groups before it was our turn. The newest ride, Superman Tower of Power, is ridiculous scary. You just freakin' fall. From really really high. Insane.

For the end of Greg Week, we'll be heading up to Chicago for the weekend. I'm really excited to visit my friend Katy and a few of Greg's friends that moved up there last year too. I'm also taking Thursday off of work to enjoy some of the Greg laziness for myself.

They are doing a big contest at work right now where the winners get to go to Vale, CO for a few days. Which is pretty frickin cool. And what makes it cooler is that the processors (which is me) actually get to participate. (Unlike every single other contest here) So, yeah, the contest has been going on for a couple months now and it ends in November....But anyway, we got an email on it today and I just now noticed that each position gets a different award if they win. So the manager's get the "Leader" award and the credit guys get the "Heavy Hitters" award. And the processors get the "Wizard" award. I'm a wizard! How cool is that?!?

Also, I got Battlestar Galactica Season One in the mail Friday. I did a happy dance. Totally rad.

I joined a gym over the weekend and I just found out that my boss is a member there. I'm now terrified that I will run into him sometime working out. I really don't want to see him sweaty. Ever.

Oh I wonder how long it will take for the smile on my face to go away....
Veronica Mars is back and she's sassy!

I watched the season premiere on MSN.com tonight because I'm not going to be home for it tomorrow. I seriously don't know how I'm going to be able to watch it only once a week and have to deal with reruns. It only took me 2-3 weeks to get through each season on DVD. It's going to drive me crazy!

The first ep was pretty good, but it doesn't seem like the season-long mystery is going to be as scandalous as the past 2 seasons.... We'll see I guess....
