This urine is great!

Last night Greg and I went to see The Kids in the Hall at the Pageant and it was most excellent. I laughed so hard I cried. I had to pee 15 minutes into the show, but I didn't want to get up and miss any of the funny. The best part was that they really seemed to be enjoying themselves, laughing at each other and occasionally messing up skits. The worst part was the cramped seating Greg and I had between "fat guy" and "old man hippie." Next time I know to get tickets for the balcony where the seating is better.

This weekend we're off to Iowa to celebrate Kelly's graduation from Central, yahoo!

Since You've Been Gone

I only have one more week of classes left. Thank goodness! I have one final and one regular test this week, and one final next Monday, then I'm done. I've really enjoyed the calculus class for the most part (there have been a few days I just really want to go home and watch TV instead of learning things) but I ready for a break. (My computer class is one of the worst classes I've ever taken for the simple fact that it's the easiest piece of crap ever. Everything is open book and the questions on the test are taken word-for-word from the book. If you can read, you should be able to get a good grade in the class. And yet some people in my class....jeez. Since I don't have to study for the class, I haven't learned a single thing. It's the biggest waste of time.)

Since Greg is now working 1st shift and I won't be taking any classes this summer, we'll be spending every weeknight together for the first time (on a regular basis) since I've lived here. It's going to be SO WEIRD. I told him since we'll both be home at the same time we should start cooking together. I'm worried we'll just end up being lazy together and ordering pizza.

We've been in our new place for almost 2 months now, and I really love it. It's still not completely put together (there are still boxes here and there) but it's coming together nicely. My favorite thing (no joke) is the laundry room. Not having to go to a laundry mat is GLORIOUS! I'm also loving my girly bathroom (completely with flowery shower curtain and framed James Dean picture), having my own closet, and an extra room to hold all of our nerd stuff - making our bedroom look even bigger. I still leave my shoes in every room causing Greg to curse me at least twice a week. Maybe if he watched where he was going he wouldn't trip over my things.

About a month ago, my division of work went through a "realignment" and I was pretty close to losing my job. Even though it was never explicitally stated by any upper management I firmly believe that it was between me and one other girl on who would be keeping their job. (Most of the ladies in my position have been with the company for centuries - whereas the other girl and I have only been with the company 5 years.) Luckily, I pulled through and part of the realignment included me transferring offices so I'm working closer to home now. I work in two different offices but they are both super close so it only takes me 15-20 minutes to get to one and less than 5 to get to the other. I miss my old office in Des Peres, but so far the move has been good. Working at two offices breaks up the week nicely and you really can't beat working 5 minutes from home. I go home for lunch and watch recorded episodes of "South Park."

Also, I've seen Iron Man twice since it opened last Friday.
