Confessions of a Dirrty Mind

--This whole James Frey controversy thing. "A Million Little Peices" has been on my list of favorite books since I read it a couple of years ago. I love the way it was written, very free flowing words, like it was exactly what he was thinking at the moment. ( I rarely think in nicely formed sentences with perfect grammar.) When I first heard that certain aspects of his memoir were "exaggerated" I didn't think anything of it. For me, it didn't take away from the enjoyment of reading the story of battling addiction. Now he's on Larry King and getting ripped a new one by Oprah and I have to say I'm still on the fence. It's a good book. But, I probably won't read his follow up, "My Friend Leonard." I guess I should take it off of my Amazon wish list, huh?

--A lady came into the store the other day to make a payment on her car, and she had Kenny Chesney on her checks. It was a super gay picture too.

--My boyfriend is much smarter than me. He talks about really interesting things like the chemicals that are produced in your brain when you sleep and their effects and scientific babble cakes. The only thing I ever have to offer is the latest celebrity gossip I've aquired.

--New gossip sites I've recently discovered: www.dlisted.blogspot.com and www.wwttd.com. I'm also addicted to www.youtube.com and watching American Idol audtions and David Hasselhoff videos.

--My new car. It's new. Have you heard?

--Does water in a dream mean something? What about serious amounts of water? Like apartment flooding. It's been a couple weeks since I watched Dark Water so I don't think that has anything to do with it either.

--I LEAVE FOR VEGAS IN A WEEK!
